What is the BrikMobile?
The BrikMobile is a one of a kind portable wood fired oven. It was built just for Brik Oven by the same ovenmasters who built the ovens at our outlets. With a special copper padding and weighing in at over 1 ton, this oven is just as good as the real thing, albeit smaller making it easy to transport.
Where can we bring the BrikMobile?
The BrikMobile can be taken anywhere with a motorable road. Given its weight, it is unsuitable for soft earth. It is a live wood fire, hence it will not be taken to basements or enclosed spaces that are not ventilated. A full location recce will be done by our operations team to ensure that we can bring it and operate smoothly without any hazards.
Is it safe?
The BrikMobile does use a live wood fire, but it is fully contained within the oven. There are no fire hazards or risks, and the amount of burning wood/embers inside the oven at any given time is never more than what you would use in a campfire/bonfire. However, we carry a fire extinguisher when needed to ensure full safety.
What is the menu like?
Everything we make at the restaurant oven is possible in the BrikMobile - but availablility for the event will depend on several parameters, we are happy to discuss these depending on your event requirement
I stay in an Apartment complex/ the event area isn’t connected to the open space directly.
Thats no worry at all - the oven will be set up in the open space and food can be cooked and moved (reasonable distances) to ensure your guests get the freshest possible food.
